A new Pistons trade idea doing the rounds would add Kyrie Irving, helping them solve their biggest problem: late-game offensive execution.

A proposed three-team blockbuster trade idea would send Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving to the Detroit Pistons. Under the proposed scenario, the Pistons would acquire Irving, while the Mavericks would receive Darius Garland, Ron Holland II, and Kris Dunn. The Los Angeles Clippers would also participate in the trade, acquiring Duncan Robinson and Jalen Duren via a sign-and-trade deal.
The trade proposal aims to solve Detroit's late-game offensive execution struggles by pairing Irving with Cade Cunningham. For Dallas, the trade would bring in the 26-year-old Garland to play alongside their young core, while also adding Holland to their roster.
