Rangers winger Daisuke Yokota is under scrutiny as details of his contract emerge following his summer transfer to the Scottish club under manager Derek McInnes. The 26-year-old Japanese attacker signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional 12 months. He joined the club after a spell with German side Hannover 96.
Reports indicate that Yokota earns approximately £10,000-per-week, which equates to an annual salary of around £520,000. Rangers reportedly paid a £3 million transfer fee for his signature, resulting in an estimated amortisation cost of £1 million per year and a total annual cost of £1.5 million.
