Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that defender Andreas Christensen is set to miss several weeks of action due to a muscle injury. The Denmark international was forced off on the hour mark during Barcelona's match against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan and appeared visibly upset on the bench.
Christensen will withdraw from the Denmark squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures during the international break. His injury leaves Barcelona thin in defense ahead of a challenging schedule that includes matches against Getafe, Real Betis, Real Madrid, Galatasaray, and Paris Saint-Germain.
