Joanderson Brito’s coach predicted what led to the finishing sequence in his first-round win at UFC 331.
Joanderson Brito revealed that his coach correctly predicted Giga Chikadze would slip during their featherweight bout at UFC 331. Chikadze slipped while throwing a kick in the first round, allowing Brito to capitalize with heavy ground-and-pound to secure a stoppage victory.
Brito explained that his corner noticed Chikadze spilling water on his feet before walking onto the fresh canvas. Now holding an 8-3 record in the UFC on a three-fight winning streak, Brito stated his goal is to establish himself as a consistent top-five contender.
