Kai Rooney is following his father's path and knocking on the door of men's football but Wayne has some clear advice for the youngster

Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has advised his 16-year-old son, Kai Rooney, that footballers never stop learning. Kai is currently progressing through the Manchester United academy and recently signed a scholarship contract with the club. The father and son both appear in the new Disney Plus documentary titled 'The Real Rooneys', where Wayne shares his advice.
Kai Rooney is returning from an injury-hit season where he made his FA Youth Cup debut and scored twice for the Under-18s. He has recently transitioned from playing as a striker to a wider role, modelling his game on Gabriel Martinelli. Unlike some academy peers, Kai has not yet trained with the Manchester United senior squad.
