‘Vaibhav Sooryavanshi doesn’t have the technique’: Ex-cricketer makes big claim

Former England spinner Monty Panesar has questioned whether 15-year-old Indian cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has the technique required to transition to Test cricket. Speaking on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast, Panesar expressed doubts about the left-hander's ability to succeed in the longest format, noting that England's Harry Brook is currently the only player ranked in the top 10 for both Tests and T20Is.

In contrast, former Australia captain Michael Clarke offered a differing view on the podcast, arguing that players can succeed across all three formats. Despite his impressive performances in the IPL, Sooryavanshi has limited red-ball experience and did not feature in India's recent T20I matches, where Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma were preferred.
