AC Milan is hoping to unlock striker Goncalo Ramos in tonight's match against Lecce after he scored just one goal in his first five games. Despite Milan scoring seven goals in four league matches, struggles up front were highlighted in their recent clash against Benfica. Manager Ruben Amorim is hoping the Portuguese forward can find the back of the net to end a three-game scoreless run.
Historically, Ramos is known for slow starts, having previously overcome similar stretches at Paris Saint-Germain to finish with 14 and 19 goals in past seasons. To assist him, Christian Pulisic is expected to make his first start of the season alongside Alexis Saelemaekers. Meanwhile, young forward Francesco Camarda is not expected to start to avoid putting unfair pressure on him.
