Liverpool battle Man City for £50m right-back as interest in 24-year-old player grows

Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Real Sociedad right-back Jon Aramburu. The 24-year-old Venezuela international has attracted significant interest from several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Newcastle, Everton, and Fulham, following strong defensive performances in La Liga. Liverpool have reportedly received highly positive scouting reports on the defender.

Aramburu is under contract with Real Sociedad until 2030, and his deal reportedly contains a release clause worth around £50 million. While primarily a right-back, his ability to play on the left offers versatility.
