Blue Jays’ Trey Yesavage To Start Monday

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage is expected to return from the injured list to start Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Yesavage has been sidelined since early August with right knee inflammation and recently completed a rehab appearance with Triple-A Buffalo. He is expected to pitch a few innings, with swingman Spencer Miles potentially available to follow him.

Yesavage has posted a 3.65 ERA over 93 2/3 innings across 18 starts this season, which has been interrupted by both shoulder and knee injuries. His return comes as the Blue Jays attempt to navigate a tight American League Wild Card race while piecing together their pitching rotation down the final stretch of the season.
