A first-half strike by Ryan Naderi took Rangers to within two points of the Hoops at the top of the table.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill is considering his future at the club following a 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Parkhead. A first-half goal from Ryan Naderi secured the victory for Derek McInnes' side, closing the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to just two points. The defeat has intensified pressure on the 74-year-old O'Neill, whose side also suffered a 3-1 loss to Ferencvaros and a 3-0 cup defeat to Rangers recently.
O'Neill stated he plans to speak with the Celtic board and take time to reflect on his position during the international break. Rangers manager Derek McInnes expressed delight with the victory, noting that his team controlled the second half and thoroughly deserved the three points to close the gap on the league leaders.
