Edward Kennedy and Beckham Jacir Win Ligier JFC Race 1 at VIR

Edward Kennedy and Beckham Jacir secured class victories in Race 1 of the Ligier Junior Formula Championship at VIRginia International Raceway on Saturday. Kennedy claimed a narrow victory in the JFC Gen. 2 class by just 0.014 seconds, while Jacir won the JFC Gen. 1 class with a comfortable margin.

Kennedy's victory marked his ninth win of the 2026 season, allowing him to take the lead in the championship points standings. Jacir secured his 10th win of the season, while Lazaro Bainotti finished second and Ava Hanssen completed the podium in third place.
