Former Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen remains a free agent following his release by the Atlanta Braves organization. McCutchen was released by the Braves' Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers, in August and did not make an appearance for Atlanta at the Major League level.
McCutchen previously spent three seasons with the Phillies from 2019 to 2021, notably hitting 27 home runs and recording 80 RBIs during the 2021 season. The five-time All-Star has also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, and Milwaukee Brewers during his career.
