Raptors better listen to Kyle Lowry’s DeMar DeRozan demand

During his retirement celebration in Toronto, Kyle Lowry advocated for the Toronto Raptors to retire DeMar DeRozan's No. 10 jersey. Lowry, whose own No. 7 jersey is scheduled to be retired by the franchise in January, made the statement while addressing the crowd. The celebration also featured the unveiling of a gold statue of Lowry and Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow presenting him with the Key to the City.

Lowry and DeRozan played six seasons together in Toronto, leading the Raptors to five consecutive Atlantic Division titles. Although DeRozan was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 2018 before Toronto's 2019 championship run, he remains the franchise's all-time leader in points, games played, minutes, and field goals made.
