Liverpool continued their unbeaten start to the Premier League season with a 1-0 away victory over Bournemouth on Sunday. Alexander Isak scored the match's only goal, which was assisted by Florian Wirtz following a deflected ball. The decisive play was largely created by Cody Gakpo, who made a tremendous run and cross from the right flank.
Gakpo has reportedly become an indispensable figure under manager Andoni Iraola, having registered two goals and four assists in six matches this season. The Dutchman was linked with a potential summer move to Manchester City, but a transfer did not materialize as Liverpool could not secure a suitable replacement.
