Tottenham Hotspur are having a nightmare start to the 2026/27 Premier League season despite apparently winning the summer transfer window with a host of dream s

Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi has pointed blame toward his squad following a difficult start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign. Spurs sit 20th in the table with two points after remaining winless through their first five matches, most recently suffering a 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa.

Following the Villa loss, De Zerbi criticized his players for conceding from a goalkeeper's long ball despite addressing the tactic in pre-match preparation.
