Former broadcaster Elton Welsby claimed that The Friedkin Group (TFG) has alerted prospective buyers that they are prepared to sell Everton Football Club. While there has been no official confirmation from Everton or TFG regarding a potential sale, the Financial Times previously reported that the owners were working with advisers to find new investors, which could result in selling a significant stake.
Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness suggested the club's valuation could settle between £800 million and £1 billion. However, independent analysis by Paul Quinn estimated Everton's enterprise value at £700 million to £880 million, with an equity value of approximately £400 million after accounting for net debt.
