Hall of Fame boxing broadcaster Jim Lampley is scheduled to appear as a celebrity guest for the 10th anniversary celebration of Fighter's Heaven in Deer Lake. The historic training camp was originally established by heavyweight icon Muhammad Ali to prepare for historic bouts like the "Rumble in the Jungle" and "Thrilla in Manila."
After falling into disrepair following the end of Ali's career, Fighter's Heaven was purchased, restored, and converted into a public museum. Other notable attendees scheduled for the milestone event include former heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon, trainer John "Iceman" Scully, and Hall of Fame sportswriter Ron Borges.
