The Colorado Rockies face questions regarding their front office strategy under president of baseball operations Paul DePodesta, who was hired nearly a year ago. While DePodesta has traded controllable players like Angel Chivilli, Seth Halvorsen, Victor Vodnik, and Brenton Doyle, the club opted to retain everyday players Hunter Goodman, Jake McCarthy, and Mickey Moniak through the trade deadline.
