Eight Super League stars charged as major Emre Guler call made

Wakefield Trinity's Emre Guler and Hull KR's Peta Hiku have both received two-match bans following red cards for punching during the Super League play-off eliminator ties. Guler was sent off during Wakefield's victory over Leigh Leopards, while Hiku was dismissed in Hull KR's defeat against Warrington Wolves. Both players accumulated 17 penalty points for their respective offenses.

Six other Super League players have been hit with disciplinary charges following the weekend's matches. Wakefield's Mike McMeeken and Warrington's James Harrison both avoided suspensions despite receiving penalty points. Additionally, Barrow Raiders player Alex Bishop received a two-match ban in the Championship for questioning the integrity of a match official.
