‘He’s got everything’ – Andy Halliday raves about Rangers ‘monster’ after what he saw vs Celtic

Andy Halliday praised Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez following the club's 1-0 victory against Celtic at Celtic Park on Sunday. Ryan Naderi scored the decisive goal under manager Derek McInnes to move Rangers within two points of the top of the Scottish Premiership table. Speaking on Open Goal alongside Aiden McGeady, Halliday described the 24-year-old center-back as a monster despite an early fourth-minute yellow card.

Both Halliday and McGeady highlighted Fernandez's dominant physical presence after the defender helped Rangers win 54 percent of their aerial duels. Fernandez joined Rangers from Peterborough United, who reportedly hold a sell-on clause, and attracted transfer interest over the summer window.
