Manchester United confirmed on Monday that Benjamin Sesko had withdrawn from the Slovenia squad for the upcoming international break

Manchester United forward Benjamin Sesko has withdrawn from the Slovenia national squad for the upcoming international break due to a shin issue. Sesko missed United's match against Fulham on Saturday after playing against Brighton the previous Wednesday. On Tuesday, he issued a statement expressing disappointment over missing Slovenia's fixtures while confirming his commitment to focusing on recovery.
Manager Michael Carrick stated that Sesko would undergo medical tests this week to determine a tailored recovery plan. Manchester United are targeting his return following the international break when they face Tottenham Hotspur on October 10. In Sesko's absence, Carrick has utilized Matheus Cunha in attack, while Bryan Mbeumo provides another alternative.
