Jarrad Branthwaite is keen to make up for lost time and show Thomas Tuchel that he is 'good enough' to be in the England side.

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has targeted regular inclusion in the England national team following his call-up by manager Thomas Tuchel. The 24-year-old was named in the squad for upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Spain, Czechia, and Croatia. This selection marks his first involvement with the national team setup in nearly two-and-a-half years, having earned his sole senior cap against Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2024.
Branthwaite's return follows a difficult 2025/26 campaign in which he made just seven Premier League starts due to recurring hamstring problems. After dedicating his summer to resolving those fitness concerns, the center-back expressed determination to compete alongside Marc Guehi and Ezri Konsa for starting spots under Tuchel.
