Four Kraken Players Hit Waivers As Seattle Makes Major Training Camp Cuts

The Seattle Kraken have reduced their training camp roster to 25 players ahead of the September 28 deadline. As part of the roster cuts, forwards Jon-Randall Avon, John Hayden, and Logan Morrison, alongside goaltender Victor Ostman, were placed on waivers to be assigned to the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds.

All four players spent the majority of the 2025-26 season with Coachella Valley. Morrison led the Firebirds in scoring last season with 29 goals and 61 points, while Hayden brings 272 games of NHL experience to the organization's depth chart.
