Mikel Arteta released him, now he’s outperforming every Arsenal player

Former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is currently outperforming all Arsenal players in goal contributions this season. Playing for newly-promoted Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga, the 37-year-old Gabonese forward has recorded five goals and two assists in seven league matches.

Aubameyang's total of seven goal contributions exceeds Arsenal's top attacking performer Bukayo Saka, who has registered three goals and zero assists in five games. Aubameyang previously left Arsenal after a dispute with manager Mikel Arteta during the 2021/22 campaign.
