Everton squad photo sums up David Moyes’ squad depth problem

Everton's latest official first-team squad photo from Finch Farm features just 18 players alongside manager David Moyes and his coaching staff. The image went viral on social media, drawing attention to the club's lack of squad depth following the summer transfer window. Everton finished the window with only 18 senior outfield players, down from 22 at the conclusion of last season.

Depth is especially limited in attack, where Thierno Barry remains the only specialist senior center-forward following Beto's summer departure and a collapsed deadline-day move for Folarin Balogun. Despite the limited options, Everton extended their unbeaten run across all competitions to seven matches after defeating Ipswich Town 1-0 on Saturday.
