Steveson's manager wants an apology.

Gable Steveson's manager, Abraham Kawa, has publicly called for an apology from UFC commentator Daniel Cormier following comments made after UFC 331 in Los Angeles. Steveson suffered a 12-second knockout defeat against Sean Sharaf and exited the cage before the official decision was announced. Cormier labeled Steveson an "ungrateful loser" for departing early, prompting Kawa to defend the heavyweight fighter on social media.
Kawa clarified that teammate Jon Jones instructed Steveson to leave the Octagon immediately to be evaluated by medical personnel. Jones took responsibility for guiding Steveson out of the cage, stating there was no malicious intent. Meanwhile, Steveson acknowledged the defeat in a statement, noting that pre-fight comments from Sharaf affected him mentally.
