Lewis Hall niggle opened door for two highly-rated prospects to be promoted for the day

Tottenham Hotspur prospect Malachi Hardy trained with the England senior team on Wednesday alongside Manchester City's Kaden Braithwaite. The defensive pair earned the temporary promotion after Lewis Hall missed the training session due to a minor injury issue. Both youngsters were on duty with Will Antwi's England Under-19 squad.
Neither Hardy nor Braithwaite is expected to feature in England's senior matches, as the call-up was limited to a single training session. Hardy, who is yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Tottenham under Roberto De Zerbi, will return to the Under-19 squad for upcoming friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Norway.
