AC Milan yet to open Christian Pulisic contract talks

AC Milan have not yet opened formal contract extension talks with Christian Pulisic, according to The Athletic. The United States forward's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, though Milan hold an option to extend it through June 2028. The Italian club intends to retain the 28-year-old, having rejected summer transfer interest from MLS club New York City.

Pulisic recently recovered from a leg micro-fracture suffered at the World Cup and has returned to form under new Milan manager Ruben Amorim. After setting up a goal against Lazio and scoring in a 3-0 victory over Lecce, Pulisic reached 54 Serie A goal involvements since joining from Chelsea, trailing only Inter's Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram over that span.
