Kane on Yamal and Mbappé’s Ballon d’Or campaigning: “It’s just not my personality”

Bayern Munich and England forward Harry Kane has addressed the public Ballon d'Or campaigning by rivals Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé. Speaking ahead of the voting deadline, Kane noted that openly promoting himself does not match his personality, even though he believes his achievements over the past year make him a strong contender.

Voting for the prestigious award is scheduled to close on Monday, with the winner set to be announced in October. Kane explained that while other candidates actively lobby the media, he focuses on the current season and prefers allowing voters and peers to judge his achievements on merit.
