Medlock Square – everything at Manchester’s new £300million entertainment district next to Etihad Stadium

A new £300 million entertainment district called Medlock Square has officially been unveiled adjacent to Manchester City's Etihad Stadium. The project features restaurants, bars, the newly opened The Medlock by Radisson Blu hotel, and an upcoming Etihad Stadium sky-walk attraction. Overseen by City Football Group, the 365-day destination forms part of the ongoing transformation of East Manchester.

Officials report that the development is expected to generate £35.8 million in off-site visitor spending annually and support 12,300 jobs across Greater Manchester. The site sits alongside Co-op Live and the Etihad Stadium, which are scheduled to host major events including NBA games, the BRIT Awards, an Oasis concert residency in 2027, and UEFA EURO 2028 matches.
