Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus confirmed that 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo will start in the UEFA Nations League match against Wales in Lisbon. Craig Bellamy will lead the Welsh national team as both sides open their latest Nations League campaign.
Ronaldo, who previously considered international retirement following the World Cup, reaffirmed his commitment to Portugal while targeting 1,000 career goals. Following the fixture against Wales, Portugal is scheduled to travel to Oslo to face Norway.
