The Kansas City Chiefs have received some good news regarding the injury progress of three of their starters.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid delivered encouraging injury updates on Wednesday regarding three starters. Safety Chamarri Conner and cornerback Mansoor Delane both returned to practice ahead of the team's upcoming matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Reid indicated he expects Delane to play on Sunday, while the team plans to ease Conner back into action.
Left tackle Josh Simmons did not practice on Wednesday as he continues to recover from a back injury. Reid noted that Simmons is improving, though swelling must subside before he can return to the field. The Chiefs currently hold a 2-0 record following early-season victories over the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts.
