The Utah Jazz Struck Gold With The Genius Keyonte George Contract Extension

The Utah Jazz have agreed to a five-year, $157 million contract extension with point guard Keyonte George. The deal secures the young guard in Utah through 2032. George was originally selected by the Jazz with the 16th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft using a pick acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

George is coming off a season where he averaged 23.6 points and 6.1 assists per game while recording a 60.9% true shooting mark. Despite Utah's ongoing rebuilding phase under head coach Will Hardy, George has established himself as a central piece of the franchise alongside forward Lauri Markkanen.
