Soucek myth discredited as West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen debate rumbles on

Amid Soucek's impending return, some supporters have suggested he should take over the captaincy from Jarrod Bowen.

However, former Czech Republic manager Ivan Hasek dismissed the idea that Soucek is a natural leader, noting he previously lost the national team captaincy to Ladislav Krejci. Hasek emphasized that while Soucek is a dedicated team player who leads by example, he does not naturally exude leadership, suggesting a captaincy change from Bowen would achieve little.
