Chris Sale reaches 200 strikeouts for ninth time as Braves edge Reds

The Atlanta Braves edged the Cincinnati Reds 3-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday, sealed by Mauricio Dubon's walk-off infield chopper. With runners on the corners, Dubon's grounder off Luis Mey allowed pinch-runner DaShawn Keirsey Jr. to score the winning run. Brent Suter earned the win in relief after retiring Cincinnati in order in the top of the frame.

Atlanta starter Chris Sale struck out 10 batters over 5 1/3 innings, reaching 200 strikeouts for the ninth time in his career. Sale joined Randy Johnson as the only left-handers with nine or more 200-strikeout seasons. Matt Olson and Austin Riley hit solo home runs for the Braves, countering a leadoff blast by Cincinnati's Juan Brito and an RBI sacrifice fly from Will Banfield.
