Leicester City to play behind-closed-doors friendly before Stevenage trip

Leicester City will play an in-house behind-closed-doors friendly match next week as part of their preparations before facing Stevenage on October 6. The Foxes do not return to League One competition until October 10 due to FIFA's extended international break, which combines the September and October windows.

Manager Martin confirmed the plans following Leicester's 6-1 victory against Fulham Under-21s in the Jersey Mike's Trophy at King Power Stadium. Eight senior players are away on international duty, leaving 18 squad members training at Seagrave ahead of the friendly and their upcoming fixture against Peterborough United.
