Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury date and venue finally confirmed after nine years of waiting

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are scheduled to fight on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The long-awaited heavyweight bout was officially confirmed by Saudi boxing chief Turki Al-Sheikh after months of negotiations over the location, with the event set to be broadcast by Netflix.

Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn pushed to keep the contest in Britain despite interest in moving it to the United States. The fight will take place under the stadium's retractable roof with a planned 1am start time to suit American audiences, and both fighters are expected to earn £75million each.
