Jaguars must take advantage of Nate Boerkircher’s underused skill vs. Patriots

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected tight end Nate Boerkircher with the 56th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to help fulfill their offensive vision. His arrival has allowed Jacksonville to run 12 personnel sets on 32.5 percent of their offensive snaps through the early part of the season.

Through two games, Boerkircher has logged 61 offensive snaps, representing 53 percent of the team's total. Despite this on-field workload, the former Texas A&M player has recorded just one reception for nine yards on a single target, while fellow tight end Brenton Strange has totaled four receptions across 88 snaps.
