The Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority issues an iGaming licence under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act No. 007 of 2005. It functions as a single B2C and B2B permit covering online casino, sports betting, poker, and live dealer operations from the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. The setup provides explicit support for cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT, while offering zero percent corporate tax, no VAT, and zero percent tax on gross gaming revenue.
The initial licensing fee costs approximately €17,000, with an approval timeline taking between four and six weeks. Obtaining the licence requires a verified corporate structure, AML and KYC controls, a technical platform, and full compliance documentation. However, the permit does not grant access to restricted markets like the EU or UK, nor does it guarantee payment processor onboarding.
