Nottingham Forest set to scare off Tottenham with Morgan Gibbs-White transfer plan

Nottingham Forest are reportedly preparing to offer midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White a new contract to deter interest from Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the January transfer window. Spurs have retained an interest in Gibbs-White, with reports suggesting they could make another approach as he enters the final 18 months of his deal. Forest have no intention of sanctioning a permanent transfer over the next two windows.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly monitoring midfield targets, but Spurs already brought in central midfielders Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes in the summer. James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski are also nearing full fitness, which could shift Tottenham's January focus toward attacking positions rather than pursuing Gibbs-White.
