‘It’s horrible to watch’ – Ex-Town winger opens up about being run over during a game

Former Premier League winger Andros Townsend avoided serious injury after being run over by a pitch roller in Thailand. The incident occurred during halftime warm-ups of a match between Townsend's club, Prachuap, and their hosts Pattani.

Speaking to Piers Morgan, the 35-year-old former Ipswich Town and Tottenham player explained that he suffered only bumps and bruises. Despite his teammates calling for medical staff and a stretcher, Townsend continued his warm-up and remained available to play.
