NHL fans unite to hate the Vegas Golden Knights in the latest survey… to nobody’s surprise

The Vegas Golden Knights were voted the most hated team in the NHL according to a fan survey conducted by JFresh on September 24, 2026. The survey, which recorded 3,043 total votes, ranked Vegas ahead of the Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, and New York Rangers.

Vegas captured 27% of the possible overall points, finishing seven points ahead of the second-place Panthers. The Golden Knights led the league by securing 17% of first-place votes, 13% of second-place votes, and 11% of third-place votes. Meanwhile, five franchises tied for the least hated team at 0%: the Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets, Seattle Kraken, Utah Mammoth, and Winnipeg Jets.
