Important Season for Youth, as Chicago Blackhawks Sign Oliver Moore Extension

The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward Oliver Moore to a five-year contract extension worth $21.25 million on Thursday. The new deal is scheduled to begin in the 2027-28 NHL season following the conclusion of his three-year entry-level contract.

Moore, who was selected 19th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, recorded 19 points in 51 games during his first full professional season before suffering a season-ending injury in March. The 21-year-old previously won two World Junior Championship gold medals with Team USA.
