Penguins Could Be Trying To Lure Three-Time 40 Goal Scorer

The Pittsburgh Penguins may target Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson in a future trade or via free agency, according to NHL insider Nick Kypreos. Kypreos reported that Pittsburgh is a market of strong interest for Jason, and general manager Kyle Dubas's acquisition of Jason's younger brother, Nic Robertson, could serve to help lure the star forward to the club.

Pittsburgh previously acquired Nic Robertson from the Toronto Maple Leafs for a 2028 fourth-round draft pick before signing him to a two-year, $6.5 million contract. Jason Robertson, who signed a one-year deal with Dallas earlier in the summer, has scored 213 goals and 277 assists across 456 career NHL regular-season games.
