Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is poised to start in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders after fully participating in Thursday's practice. Darnold missed one game due to a glute injury sustained during the season opener against the New England Patriots, but reported positive progress ahead of Sunday's matchup.
Backup quarterback Drew Lock previously started in Darnold's absence, leading Seattle to a 31-7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals with three touchdown passes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Meanwhile, safety Julian Love was held out of Thursday's practice with a calf injury, joining Ty Okada, Brandon Pili, and Jadarian Price as injury concerns.
