Hall Of Famer Bob Pettit Dies At Age 93

Two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Bob Pettit has died at the age of 93, the Naismith Hall of Fame announced. Pettit, widely regarded as one of the greatest power forwards in basketball history, played 11 seasons after being selected second overall by the Milwaukee Hawks in 1954.

During his career with the Hawks franchise, Pettit won two regular-season MVP awards, four All-Star MVPs, and led the team to an NBA championship in 1958. He retired in 1965 as the league's all-time leading scorer with 20,880 career points.
