Oilers’ goaltending tandem ranks 25th in Daily Faceoff pre-season rankings

Daily Faceoff ranked the Edmonton Oilers' goaltending group 25th among all 32 NHL teams ahead of the 2026-27 season. The Oilers are anticipated to rely on a three-goaltender mix consisting of Frederik Andersen, Devon Levi, and Tristan Jarry. Daily Faceoff analyst Matt Larkin highlighted that while Andersen offers experience and Levi provides upside, early-season concerns remain prominent.

Offseason training injuries will sideline Andersen to start the season, leaving Jarry as the expected opening starter. Jarry struggled following a mid-December trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins, recording an .858 save percentage and 3.86 goals-against average in 19 games with Edmonton.
