Herschel Jantjies says the fire is still burning inside him to perform for the Springboks – starting against the Wallabies in Perth on Sunday.

Herschel Jantjies is set to make his first Test start for the Springboks since 2021 when South Africa plays against the Wallabies in Perth. The scrumhalf returned to international action in July as a substitute against Wales in Durban, scoring one of the team's seven tries.
Jantjies credited his recent growth to working with coaches Tony Brown, Jerry Flannery, and Felix Jones. He also highlighted Morné van den Berg's performance against the All Blacks as an inspiration, noting that the internal competition for the number nine jersey remains positive.
