Golden Knights survive Mammoth despite Adin Hill’s struggles

The Vegas Golden Knights rallied from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Utah Mammoth 5-4 in overtime on Thursday night in their first home preseason game. Despite the victory at T-Mobile Arena, the performance of goaltender Adin Hill raised ongoing concerns about the team's goaltending stability heading into the season.

Hill surrendered two straight goals at the end of the first period after Vegas took an initial 1-0 lead, posting an .846 save percentage in the opening frame before allowing another goal in the second period. Hill is attempting to rebound after losing playing time to Carter Hart late last season.
