Alejandro Garnacho faces an uncertain future at Aston Villa after struggling for playing time during his season-long loan from Chelsea. The 22-year-old winger has made just three substitute appearances totaling just over 30 minutes under manager Unai Emery and has failed to feature in the club's last four matches, including a 3-2 victory against Tottenham.
According to reports, the loan agreement contains no unilateral January exit clause, meaning both Chelsea and Villa must mutually agree to terminate the deal early. The transfer also features a conditional obligation to buy for around £40m if undisclosed criteria are met, while several unnamed La Liga clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation.
